Palmanova and Magaluf boast an exceptional location on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Some of these beaches – the largest ones – are wheelchair accessible, equipped with wooden walkways, shaded areas, amphibious chairs and adapted toilets. Furthermore, there is a wide range of water sports aimed at providing friends, couples and children with a fun-filled experience.

The Es Carregador beach is one of the most famous beaches in Palmanova. It is located to the east of the Palmanova promenade and is bordered by the Nautical Club and the emblematic Punta Marroig. Known for its calm waters, its light blue colour and the many services surrounding it, it is one of the most comfortable and easily accessible beaches in the area.

Palmanova beach is the beach that the entire area is named after and it is one of the most well-rounded beaches in Calvià in terms of services. It is family friendly, quite busy and has a pine tree area which provides shade during the hot summer months. This fine, white sandy beach stretches from Punta Marroig to Punta Nadala.

Son Matias beach is a beautiful long beach with fine white sand and shallow, crystal-clear waters. It is one of the beaches in Palmanova favoured by residents and it is situated between Punta Nadala and the Torrenova peninsula.

MAGALUF BEACH

Magaluf beach is the largest in the area. A long, wide sandy beach with shallow crystalline waters. It differs from other beaches in that it is full of life, very popular and vivacious due to its proximity to some of the most fashionable shops, restaurants and beach clubs located on its promenade; you can access the beach from the pedestrian streets.

Son Caliu beach is, in fact, a small bay, quiet and beautiful, located 1 km from the heart of Palmanova. The cove combines a sandy beach with a rocky one, from which you can access the sea by a staircase.

CALA VINYES

CALA VINYES

This is a little cove with both golden sand and rocks and surrounded by a lovely Mediterranean pine forest. Located between Magaluf and Cala Falcó, it is a coastal inlet bordered by low cliffs and has an area with palm trees that provide shade for visiting bathers.

Caló de la Bella Dona is a sandy, seaweed-rich bay located in the Sol de Mallorca urbanisation. It can be reached on foot via a hidden staircase or by sea from Cala Vinyes or Cala Falcó; ideal for switching off from everything, in the heart of nature.

Cala Falcó is a sandy, algae lined bay near the Cala Vinyes urbanisation. It is a small beach that has natural shade from the pine trees. Some medium height rocky cliffs flank it. This beautiful place is surrounded by pine trees and woods, which stretch their branches down to the inviting water, leaving only enough room at the sea edge to laze in the sun.

PORTALS VELLS

PORTALS VELLS

The beaches of Portals Vells, surrounded by lush pine forests, are some of the most famous in Mallorca. They are 7km from Magaluf and can be reached by a narrow road, with several forks, to get to the three small beaches with crystal-clear, turquoise water. Each beach can be reached by a different path. Portals Vells I, Portals Vells II (El Mago) and Portal Vells III (Playa del Rey). Conditions for anchoring boats are excellent; the deep water and sandy bottom make it a popular spot to spend the day.

CALA AIXADA

CALA AIXADA

A rocky cove without shade located in the Sol de Mallorca urbanization. There is a staircase installed for getting out of the water. Swimming is not advisable, and it is mainly used by residents of the area.
